T-Mobile Ipad air question

Ok I sold a T-mobile ipad air on ebay but have this question thats driving me crazy. Would the other person that bought my Ipad air(T-Mobile Model) be able to use it on their t-mobile account even though I bought it? Also I will still have the T-mobile sim from the Ipad air, I shouldn't be worried about anything like getting a bill for remaining balance since I still have the account open and still paying the bill?

Yeah the billing info is in the sim. Just do a factory reset before sending.
