IMEI Number on Receipt?

I just received an email from T Mobile denying my claim to the 128 gb micro sd card saying the IMEI number on the box did not match the number on the receipt. Well, since the receipt doesn't have an IMEI number, this is starting to smell like another T Mobile run around.

I would ask them for a copy of the receipt that has the IMEI if that's what they want.

I've spent hours on the phone with T Mobile getting nowhere. One rep says "sure, no problem" and promises to email the receipt with the IMEI...says she's looking right at it on her computer. Then I get an order confirmation emailed to me with nothing on it I can use. I call again and another rep tells me it's just not possible to send that receipt and I have to go to the store. I told them, again, the store can't pull up a receipt with the IMEI #. How can they know the IMEI of a phone when it's a pre order to be shipped at a later date? This stinks of another T Mobile BS story. The third time they promised something and didn't deliver.

They do deliver on thier promises, go to the nearest tmobile corporate store.
