T-Mobile has slowed down MR updates lately. We have to make sure a lot of technology works, like HD Voice, EVS, RCS, Wi-Fi Calling, etc.
Is that an excuse? Absolutely. Could T-Mobile do a better job at communicating our status on updates, and providing updates in a more timely manner? Absolutely.
So... what does T-Mobile do WAY better than our competitors?
Our CEO listens to customers. He shares his e-mail address to the world, and encourages customers to e-mail him and tweet him. If you feel that T-Mobile is losing its edge and should address a PAIN POINT.... shoot him an e-mail, tweet at him. Let him know.

Maybe we're out of real pain points that we need to manufacture some to email the CEO about? Uncarrier.

Possibly but honestly .. "uncarrier" or not updates are a pain for most carrier devices. A perfect example is the Verizon S6/S6 Edge getting the latest security update but the newest (S7/S7 Edge) doesn't? It definitely is a pain point that should be solved all around.

On another note though I am glad T-Mobile bloatware is light. Same with Verizon (Verizon does have a few more apps but none are "system changing" ones so they aren't that bad). The AT&T bloat on the G5 & S7 phones is horrendous.

Oh yeah, it's definitely an issue when it comes to US carriers. But the idea that something TMO should already be doing in a timely fashion (providing updates) merits an email to CEO? Ridiculous. It isn't exactly a congested tower TMO doesn't know about.

People will do it for anything really. If you put yourself out there you will get requests about anything. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets emails of people asking for discounts and such lol.
