How to move to a new phone with existing T-Mobile prepaid account?

What is the procedure to move an existing T-Mobile prepaid account from an old phone to a new phone?
Can I just move the SIM from the old phone to the new phone or is there more that is needed?

I have had the T-Mobile prepaid $30/month (5GB data) plan for 2 years now with my owned Samsung Galaxy S4 I bought used.
If I bought a different phone in the future, how can I move the plan to the new phone keeping the same phone number and account?

Just put the SIM cad into the new phone. It's that easy. Their system will automatically register the new phone in your account after a day or two. Your phone will work instantly.

I swap SIM cards in different phones all the time just by doing this.
