The new iPhone xs cost the same as the Note 9. Why is there no down payment for the XS and it's $41 dollars a month?

I know TMobile customers have different down payments. Just thought it was odd how for me the XS was zero down and the note 9 was $279 with both being the same price.
Like I said above, only the $999 64GB XS is zero down. The one that is the same price as the Note 9 is $349 down and has 512GB.

T-Mobile does have the Note 9 for Zero down as of today. This is the 128GB model so it still doesn't compare with the XS zero down model.

I only have 5 more payments on the Jump on Demand but I only signed up for it because it was a lease with no money down and can trade the phone in every month if I want. Who in their right mind will give 300 down only to trade the phone in 2 months later and give another 300 down and at the end of 18 months, you give the phone back? I'll end up just paying mine off instead of giving it back because that's crazy. No doubt Tmobile doesn't even want people to stay on JOD anymore

Mine says $179 down on a Note 9. Just checked. I read on Mac Rumors forum some are getting the X s(eries) for $109 down. Same $999 total price. 😠 The preorder pricing was the $279 on the Note 9, but not for an iPhone, which is showing $179 for me.

Actually the $999 phone is the 64gb, same price as the 128gb for the Note9. So if you can get either for no down payment, that's great. Mine shows $179 on both.

T-Mobile is weird with down payments. Other carriers you can do 0 down on any phone and pay monthly.

This is exactly why I question even staying with T-Mobile. Everything is all over the map as far as down payments. I haven't even looked lately as to what my down payment would be for JOD on anything since the Note 9. Very frustrated with it.

I think a lot are after these down payments. Unless your a special, extra customer.
