Note 3 camera rotation

My note 3 camera is acting a little weird. The camera will not work or orient to portrait mode. It will work in landscape mode, but only if samsung logo is to my left. If turned with Samsung logo to my right it is upside down. I have started in safe mode (it works fine). Remove battery restart and it works fine for five minutes. Have checked screen rotation setting, all other functions rotate just fine. Have cleared cache on device and in camera. Still nothing. Don't know what to do. Four weeks past warranty. Using 4.4.2. In the process of updating to 4.4.4.
I have also gone through my apps and removed any new ones.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving

Welcome to Android Central! You mentioned that it works fine in Safe Mode--does that mean it works correctly? If so, while in Safe Mode, see if you can start opening apps one by one, and check the camera function in between. If the camera starts to act up, it is likely due to the most recent app that was opened.
