I am wondering if the non-carrier branded version of the S4 will support AT&T LTE bands? I believe AT&T uses 4 & 17. 700mhz and 1700/2100mhz for LTE. If we pre-ordered the S4 from, lets say Negri Electronics, would it be FULLY compatible with AT&T's HSPA+ and LTE networks? I know with the S3, (GT-i9300) it only supported AT&T HSPA+. Users were forced to buy the bogged down version with the Qualcomm chip to get LTE. Hopefully that isn't the case this year. I'd like to own a NON-BRANDED phone.

I wouldn't call an extra gig of ram bogged down. No, the Exynos version will not support LTE on AT&T.

No one knows for sure and I don't think anyone will know until the phone is released, unless Samsung directly says it does or doesn't or if a place like Sam Mobile confirms it. The closest to an LTE confirmation that we have is that it's confirmed to work on LTE in Korea.

So now that the phone is out will the I9500 work on AT&T LTE? I am seeing eBay sellers claim it does, but you can't always trust what you are reading. I mean you can get a 64GB for $889.50 and yeah its a bit of coin, but no bloatware, no contract, 4 times the internal storage, oh damn.

I should be receiving my 19500 GS4 next week, and I do have AT&T, so when I get it I will remember this thread and confirm it for you

Thank you smooth4lyfe. I actually went to Negri Electronics tonight and asked them about it and all I got out of them was its not yet in stock and to check back daily for availability. I mean really you can't tell me IF it supports AT&T LTE or not. I am actually considering the 64GB version $889.50, I mean go BIG or go home. You get no bloatware, immediate updates as Samsung pushes them out and options galore 16/32/64GB and White/Black.

I have this page bookmarked so I am counting on you smooth4lyfe :)

It's actually not bad at all, Things still load pretty quickly, definitely faster than I thought. It's nothing that will make u upset about
