i just chatted with at&t and they say they have no firm launch date and do not know when the 32gb model will be available. just as i thought another mess of a preorder like the htc one had. i guess im gonna wait this one out.

If you want it that bad why don't you just walk into the store on the 26th and buy one?

Guess it will be a while before I can get my 64GB Verizon edition.

im hearing the 32gb model will not be out when this launches. as i said ill wait this one out. hopefully by the time at&t carries it i will see development. until then my note2 suites me fine.

AT&T pre-orders are an EPIC FAIL, no 32GB for pre-order option, no firm date to get them in store, in fact no real information at all and only select areas can pre-order. Verizon is always last but they usually do pre-orders a lot better.

to add to that the full price is outrageous. i don't see this phone selling well, just like the galaxy note 8.0.

Tried to pre order on the website and it was a no go. Went to the store and they said they didn't have it in the system to pre order. Also, call customer service and they said they couldn't pre order via phone. WTF! I guess they don't want me to upgrade.

it'll be more competitive if Samsung S4 16GB preorder cost $150. because HTC ONE is a rival at this point for S4. the high end smartphone's storage should be starting at 32gb now a days.

Just looked on the AT&T page, and the S4 16GB is going for $199, in black or white.

That's for a 2 yr contract...you guys are lucky! In Canada, it will be $199 CAD with a 3 year contract! or $700 without. Damn "standard" 3 year Canadian contract...

For an additional 50 bucks to go from 16GB to 32GB is not worth it. You can get a 64GB microSD card for under 50 bucks.
Why get 32GB when you can get 80GB for the same price?

Any disadvantage in storing things on a SD card as opposed to the phone? My main concern is music. Chances are this will replace my ipod so I will likely have a lot of music on here. Would I be able to download songs straight the SD card from the phone?

Apps can only be stored on the phone, I'm assuming? Regardless, 16gb would be plenty for apps.

I was going to get the 32gb model since it is "only" $50 more, but now I'm having second thoughts. 16gb + 64gb SD should be plenty of storage..

Because you cannot install the apps on the microSD cards anymore and I want to have more than just the minimum internal memory plus my 64GB microSD card. For $50 its worth it for me. AT&T would rather get the early suckers to bite on the 16GB version then roll out the 32GB as "Coming Soon" which is marketing speak for who the hell knows. It could me at official launch, it could be a month or two from now. They figure most people want or will buy the 16GB version due to the $199 price. Me I am not sucked into that crap and will ONLY get the 32GB version!

199 is for the 16gb. Have you been reading this thread? 249 is for the 32gb which will be "coming soon"

Because internal storage is faster, PERIOD. Not too mention, I'd rather just have 32GB if its available. I personally hate changing SD cards because its full. 32GB on the phone plus a 64GB sd card gives 96GB of storage. Sounds pretty sweet to me.

2 GBs have worked for me for the last 2 years on my Infuse, lol. I'll stick with the 16GB, and transfer over my 2GB card. Can't imagine what you'd need with 64GB though...

For some 16gb simply isnt enough. Its about as simple as that. At&t had no business giving us the 32gb price point and not offering it yet.

I went to AT&T store this morning and pre-ordered the 16GB White. The rep said that I could have it delivered to the store and it would be ready for pick up on Friday 4/26. My confirm did say it would be shipped on 4/30. I will just have to wait to see who is correct. Will report out to everyone!

US Cellular doesn't have the 32gb option either. Or launch date. But they do have a free S-View cover for preordering. Hehe.
