downloading and setting alarm tones

Hi,

I just switched over from an iphone to the galaxy s4 so I'm still in the process of learning how everything works. I wanted to change my alarm tone so I downloaded and paid for another one from the google play store. When I go into the menu to select a new tone to apply the one I downloaded does not show up in the list. I plugged the phone into my PC to see if the alarm tone was maybe in a different folder but I can't locate it. I also just installed an SD card and double checked every folder on that and still cannot find it.

How do I apply the new tone to my alarm? Eventually I'd like to download new message tones and ringtones to use as well.

Have you looked in the folder called Ringtones? Usually that is where you place ringtones you would like to add.

Yes, I've checked every folder on both the phone and my SD drive.

I think I recall seeing a Downloads in my app drawer try looking there and in the My Files folder.

Thank you... but it wasn't in there either. The alert tone doesn't show up in any of the folders at all. If I go to the "play music" app the tone shows up in there otherwise I can't access it from anywhere else.
