I used to like the vibration intensity of my iPhone 4. Not only could I feel it in most situations, I could also hear it on the table, accross the room, etc. This served as a nice unobtrusive "quiet" ring which was nice. Is there a way to change the intensity on the Galaxy S4?

Unfortunately. you can only change the intensity if you are rooted, running a custom ROM with the option. Stock only has on or off
