Video playback settings?

ok so i was playing a video on my phone and noticed even though i had the brightness set to the lowest whenver i play a video it goes back to the brightest setting while playing the video but when it is finished it goes bck to the lowest again, how can i dim the brightness during video playback?

You probably have your phone on the power saving setting. Just go to settings then display and unclick the powersaving mode

it doesnt matter whether i have checked or unchecked it still brightens up when i watch a video but i have now noticed if i leave it on auto bright its not as bright when its playing a video
