gingerbread?

Hi there first post,

does anyone have any information on the status of the infuse getting gingerbread???

I desperately need it because skype needs permission to use the forward facing camera and that is only allowed on 2.3 or higher.


Also I visited the website and theres already android 3.2? can anyone give me some information on this? thank you in advance!!!

Gingerbread is out, but not from AT&T. If you don't know what you're doing when it comes to rooting, you need to wait until AT&T releases it. Head over to the XDA forums for more information. Android 3.x is for tablets.

I'm trying to root my phone as I speak with S1C and its not working.

After i get the phone rooted though can I use a custom rom and boot from there to have gingerbread? and then when AT&T releases their gingerbread I can just switch over?
