I wish I could believe that. The day will come when the big carriers will no longer allow anyone unlimited access to their network. It may take a while but its coming.

Perhaps so, but until then, I will enjoy my unthrottled, truly unlimited data plan to the fullest on the best 4G LTE network in the US.

Hard to say best unless you strictly mean on coverage. No carrier is the best everywhere :).

True, but it seems like Verizon's is the best more places than the others.

That's a coverage thing.. As for speed you can't really say unless you test everywhere. I beat Verizon LTE in Jacksonville (where I live) any any day with my LTE.... But I go somewhere else it won't be the case. There are so many factors that effect networks you can't claim best unless it's a specific thing.. And even then it's subjective.

At this point with the new share plans att has beat Verizon and they are putting the pressure on tmobile. I just switched to tmobile and then they announced the no contract plans at a lower rate. With my corporate discount my tmobile plan with 2 lines with one at 2.5gb and one unlimited I pay 96.80 a month. I just checked att and with my corporate discount the 8gb share plan with 2 lines will cost me 101.10 a month. It's frustrating trying to decide. I know I'll get better coverage but I would have to get new phones since my current phones don't work with att LTE bands. Decisions decisions. Maybe I'll give tmobile 2 months and give them a chance to compete to keep me. Otherwise I will probably switch to att for the better coverage

ATT throttling is ridiculous after 5gb on my unlimited plan. When I bought the plan and they said I could keep it forever it was not throttled. However that was in the days of iPhone 3g speed devices. Now instead of throttling to just 4g instead of LTE they drop me to dialup speeds. That is just a bit ridiculous to me. They will loose me to Tmobile with their next underhanded move on long time customers. We pay $300/mo for 5 phones with unlimited data and have been since 2007. They do not seem to value me as much as I would like them to.

Yep. The first time they throttled me when I was with them I left. Had an unlimited plan long before they decided to change it... And they were going punish me for keeping it? No thanks.

Now thanks to T-Mobile throttling is no longer a concern :).

I get 32mb/s down on att LTE with good connection. What speeds can you get with tmo?

My area is pretty good on LTE. Below are various tests around town for me (Jacksonville, FL).
