If I get the $60 / month Go Phone plan, I get 2 gigs of data. I am confused by the wording on going over 2 gigs. Do I pay $10 for each 1 gig I go over, or do I only get 1 extra gig for $10? IE, if I want 4 gig's of data, is that possible? That would be $60 (base price, 2 gigs) + $10 1 gig + $10 1 gig. Or after I pay $10 for the extra gig, is my data cut off until the next billing cycle?

If its go phone my understanding is that your data will either stop or slow to a crawl until u pay ten for another gig. If u was on contract it would've gone on your bill.

Thanks. So I can pay for more than 1 gig (in $10 increments) within one billing cycle, correct?

Thanks for your replies. I am with T-Mobile and use about 4 to 5 gigs a month. However, when traveling my service is pretty bad to nonexistent. Also, in the middle of the city where I have good coverage, I can walk into some buildings and get no service at all. My friends who have AT&T never have these problems. I am debating on going with Straight Talk using AT&T (but don't know if I can live with only 2.5 gigs of 4g) or Go Phone or the Mobile Share Value Plan.

It will stop. You can then top up or use existing funds and add another 1GB for 10USD.

Notice: I do work for AT&T. My words, not theirs. This information is publicly available on att.com
