Best Buy able to Cross/Share Upgrade with AT&T

I was wondering if anyone knew whether Best Buy is able to complete a shared upgrade (as AT&T calls it now). I currently have an iPhone 5 and am looking at the Galaxy S6, but my line isn't eligible for an upgrade but another on my account is. Best Buy has the free wireless charging pad promotion so I would like to pre-order with them. I also have an unlimited data plan - will I be able to keep it doing a shared upgrade?

Yes, you can do Alternate Upgrades (that's what we call them) at Best Buy

For the pre-order, would I need to go to the store to do that? It seems when I try online it just gives me the ATT Next upgrade option, unless I'm missing something online.

Yeah, go to the store and when it comes in they can do an alternate upgrade for you.
