Been with At&t for over 15 yrs. I have a house in the country that I've been living in full time for 10 yrs.
Very hard to use my Note 5 around the house.
At&t sent me a micro cell.
My Wife would call me for 2 hrs. And text me. I would never get a call.
Had to disconnect the microcell.
Finally got on wifi calling. Have to be right in the living room for it to work very good.
If I'm outside its a hit and miss.
Got a lot of trees around me where I live.
Verizon put up a cell tower 2 blocks from the house a few years back.

I ride down the state park road coming to the house. No signal at all.
I've talked to At&t for years and years.
What do I hear. Hand in there. We will get up a tower in the future.
Well if they haven't done nothing in 15 yrs. Don't think they care to do it anytime soon.
All they are interested in is you to take a survey.
How was my representative when they talked to you.
Did they take care of you.
Don't care about their representative. What I cared about is for them to take care of my problem with their service.
They said that they sold me a phone. They didn't guarantee me service.
Tired of a company that don't care. And they just make excuses.
They are plenty nice. Problem is their service don't work in the country.

Called At&t for the unlock codes on my Note 5 and the S7E.
Want to see if I can take them over to Verizon.
Their service is much better in the area I live in.
Hope I don't regret going to Verizon.

Wanting to wait till the note 8 comes out.

Re: Looking at leaving At&T

Sounds like ATT service in your area is almost non-existent. If I were you, I'd certainly switch carriers with no hesitation.

I went through a similar situation with Sprint, so I switched my family over to ATT and couldn't be happier.

Hard to switch when I have a note 5 and a S7E that are both paid off and AT&T is jacking with me about waiting 2 days to get the unlock codes.

Waiting is not a very good quality for me. Its a Waste of time.
More big companies running over their customers. By what. Rules some people sit in a office and made.

Verizon might have some good incentives to offset the cost of switching to them. And you could also try selling your phones on Swappa to recoup some funds.

Don't want to buy any new phones.
Verizon wants to sell me something less than what I have.
Just having a phone don't cut it for me.
It has to be a phone that I want.
If its just a phone to get by.
I would rather cut my service off and have no phone.
I'm a hermit now.
