I've been a long time Picasa person. I used Flickr before Picasa came along and haven't gone back since. My issue is now with the slow movement of Picasa into Google+ it brings up an issue I have with a few people whom do not buy into social media, do not have accounts with Google+, Facebook, or Twitter, and who want to remain that way. The yearly choice of annual fees are up and I've been looking over at Flickr and 500px for the fact these will be mostly mobile device photos, no real photography pros. They are sharing out to relatives from other countries in some cases whom don't have social media sites to login to, and also why I posted here in Tablet apps, need to be able to manage this from an Android tablet. Flickr is long standing and pretty simple, but 500px looks nicer. Not sure on which service or apps as I've relied on Picasa web albums all this time for myself and the instant upload for these others plus PicFolio for them to manage it.
