003 barry use...

Well I had the 002 evo and got horrible barry life! I'm talking sometimes less than 6hrs. Had an issue and it was replaced, the new one is 003. My first cycle saw 14 hrs. And had gotten so good that I'm runing wifi and the koi pond live wall paper and I'm getting over 30 hrs. Atk is on but I don't ever close anything now. I didn't even use the network app as my tws is never gone over 4% with the 003 gonna root sometime today as well as of this post I have 85% battery left and its been 16 hrs since I'm un plugged. I didn't do the update either. Also I charged batter this last time on the 6 dollar ebay charger. That thing is awesome. Also bought the 10 dollar ebay 2 battery and charger from china. Hope this post sheds some insight.

I have version 2 and haven't noticed any rapid discharging. I would say given how moderate my usage is, it's about average for a smartphone for me. I also don't use a task killer.

There would be some palm pre users who would be jealous of you. Hah. I'm glad to see that you are getting better battery life. After the OTA update, the battery life has improved a lot. I've done the ota updates on both my EVO's and i've been getting at least 10 hours on heavy usage. Casual usage it's been 13+ hours.

I thought the only difference was between the screens, It should get the same if all the settings are the same.
