1/3 of the screen on my S8 has a lighter tint than the rest.

1/3 of the screen on my S8 has a lighter tint thant the rest. I'm guessing it's from the youtube app as I use it alot and the Window has the same size as that, but im not sure. Anyone know how to fix this? It's been getting worse the more I use it and I haven't found other threads about this problem. I also had this same thing happen to me with my S4 and my S3 mini back in the day? Is this an OLED only problem? I really don't want to have to buy a new one just due to this.

No way would I try to repair it....it should still be under warranty? I would contact samsung support and send it in.

Sure sounds like a hardware problem...would do what H3aTeRzz suggests.

Sounds like burn in. Do you not watch YouTube in full screen?

Try the warrant route.
