Every S4 I see seems to have a cracked screen. One guy (owner) told me "Oh, they all do that".

But how could they leave out HTC One or other top phones (G2, etc)?

Have to say from personal stupidity that the X is freakishly durable. Being a smart ***, I dumped the dirt bike today, landed on my shoulder, rolled over and slid on my **** with my X in my back pocket. Shoulders killing me (hope the pins are still where they should be) and my X is perfectly fine!

I love my Moto X!

That's Motorola for you. I was a total butterfingers with my Droid X--going so far as to fling it three feet into a wall or onto the floor--and that thing never broke. It's still in decent condition.

My Galaxy Nexus, though? Cracked the screen the first or second time I dropped it when it slipped out of my coat pocket as I was getting out of my car. Thank god for insurance.

see!!! That's my point Moto X is also for people who don't take care of their toy and for occasional droppers.

Yes I take care of my toys. My wife has destroyed quite a few though. Even the almighty otter box on her RAZR HD and iPhone bit it. Items made of glass and plastic have a tendency to break. Can't blame the manufacturer every time

Both our Droids had to be replaced for broken USB ports, about a year and a half in. Our Gnexii? A year and a half, not a scratch and going strong. I may run them till the next generation of MotoX shows up next year.

Yeah so I'm the guy that said he's always careful with my phones. Well, my wife and I were getting out of the van..... Slid from the seat out the door and landed on the top right corner, flipped to the bottom right corner and came to rest on the concrete face down. My heart sank. She did the same thing with her Max HD last week and shattered the glass.
I picked my X up. Slowly turned it over and not a scratch on the glass. The corners that landed first are barely scuffed on the back surface and mildly nicked on the front.
Lucky.... No doubt... Durable... Indeed!
I'll edit this later with pics. Now I'm thinking case.... But probably won't get one.

Dropped S4s could be because of the size. The owner probably had a smaller phone prior.
