1 MORE DAY!! Having Second Thoughts??

I've decided not to buy an Evo and keep my Pre.
The $10 4G fee is really going to be hard on my family an...

No srsly I'm so getting the Evo q: 7:30am.

I was like what are you serious. Then the punch line came. Was kinda shocked fr4nk1yn. Good one.

the only thing I'm nervous about is my Palm Pre failing to wake me up yet again and I end up oversleeping past my appointment

hahahaha nice... one thing i won't miss is the "flurry" alarm tone... i don't know why i use that, (probably becuse its so annoying its impossible to sleep through). But jeez thats an awful sound.

I actaully held a dummy unit in RadShack yesterday. I thought it was gonna be too big, but it felt very comformtable in hand. Trying to figure out the pocket thing...but I might get it for 30 and see what happens.

srsy dont have second thoughts. from what ive read this phone is a beast...ill be in line 430am to get this at my sprint store....i cant wait!!!!lol

A lot of people have been relating anecdotes about their Pres acting up as if they knew they're about to be kicked to the curb. It's all in good fun, but we really shouldn't anthropomorphize the Pres. They hate it.

Not able to get mine until the 17th, if the customer service gal bumped up my date like she said she would. I'll just have to live vicariously through y'all until then. =/

So I've been waiting for this phone since April. Counting down the days... checking google and youtube on a daily basis for new info and evo-hunger satisfying videos. But now I'm wondering if I should get it tomorrow or wait until the initial craze dies down and do more thorough, in depth homework. Also, I'm leery of lining up at 6am for a phone that I'll be committed to buying without getting my own hands on time it, (like I did with the Palm Pre).

What do you guys think, are you guys diving head first in to the Evo pool? Or are you going to wait a week or so, get some hands-on time, read more reviews, monitor the forums, and then wade your way in?

I was going to wait for a while, as I have with every other phone to see if once the "new" wore off, problems started surfacing. The I had an attack of retardation, partly out of growing frustration with the TP2, and bought one last Thurdays off of Craigslist. As a businessman, I have some misgivings, but love the phone in general. My misgivings include the lack of a full-featured MS Office-compatible program (like SoftMaker has for WM), the lack of a phone call recorder (like the free ACR on WM, which only works on the TP2 as far as i know - it's a hardware issue as well as a software issue). Some things, like automatically downloading large attachments (despite having it set to do so) stinks, as well as the fact that if you leave the email in which you manually command it to download an attachment, it stops, and you have to go back to the page and command the attachment download again, and WAIT until it finishes. Not sure why that is, but very annoying.
