1 or 2 second delay!

Hi, this is my first time to post here. I got my note 3 2 weeks ago and so far i am happy with it. I use it everyday and installed games in it. I just want to ask if it is normal to have a delay when opening apps (e.g. gallery, message) when there are already many apps installed?

Welcome to the forums.
I don't have the note 3 but I have a Moto X and there is about a second delay in brining up the Gallery. So probably not.
