1 week thoughts on my ZenFone2

Hi all I have recently bought a 64th ZenFone2. My previous device was an s5 active so screen size was my main concern with this phone. I like using a thin case on all my phones for safety reasons! This adds to the bulk but the phone feels nice to use and has a unique shape. I feel like this was a good handset to buy as 16gb of storage was getting dicey at times. The bloatware is annoying and I've uninstalled what I can, but the 64gb is going to be handy for someone who may want to use the ASUS apps.
Please ask me any questions if you are considering this device! Ill help out as much as possible!

Thanks for the thoughts! Do you have the ZE551ML model? I agree that ASUS loads a lot of bloat, but they did relent somewhat and make a number of those apps actually removable. And I have to admit that the ZenUI Launcher is really quite good.

I don't have a ZenFone 2, but I actually installed the ASUS Photo Collage app, since it looked interesting when Jerry reviewed it. I like it. I like that ASUS has some of its apps in Play Store, and those apps are available for other devices.

Yeah I have the 551 model. Still really happy with it. I bought a the official flip cover for the phone and I don't really like it too much. The bloat is certainly manageable, I use the gallery app and power saver app most.

Hi, OP! How are you liking your Zenfone 2 at the moment? I'm seriously considering buying one, as my LG G3 is causing me a lot of problems and I'm considering upgrading early to a phone off-contract.

I've had mine for almost a year and really like it. For example, the battery lasts all day except when I'm using navigation. My only complaint is that ASUS hasn't pushed out Marshmallow OTA, and the download version reportedly is quite buggy.

True i have seen may users reporting the same under Zentalk forums but i did manual update & my device is working fine, you can report the same under forums so that they will provide some information regarding the same.
