Never owned a nexus and have been wanting one since the 4 but the whole lack of sd card has kept me at bay..... Adapted my needs and got me the 6... Sold me on the deal....
#1. Lollipop
#2. Size
#3. Motorola
#4. Design
#5. Specs.
#6...Absolutely love Google and the fact they continue to update there phones 2 yrs later as prove of nexus 4.....

My two biggest complaints.....
Power button, volume rocker are to close together with case on it makes it harder but i will get over it....... And the head phone jack.... Why can't they put it on the bottom makes it a pain at the gym when i take it out of my pocket.... Just have to buy wireless Bluetooth head phones....

I haven't had any major issues except a wifi issue at home believe that to be my wifi provider issue but... As for battery well it isn't as good as my note 3 better than my LG G3... I get a full day for the most part... Work days i unplug it at 4am and plug back in at 7/8pm around 20-25%..
I kept it stock with Google launcher and 3 widgets (calendar, clock, weather). 3 home screens i currently have 12gb of storage left with 70 apps and 10 gb of music and all my photos are in cloud... Kept the Google music player as opposed to poweramp since i have had issues with it and was tired of fighting with it and hey Google player fits my needs well...

Call quality is great i can hear well and speaker volume is excellent and the other end hears me well...

See what happens in a month from now......

Thought i would share..... Hope this is informative....

I agree about the volume rocker and power button. I bought a cruzerlite case that kind of helps with that issue though.

My work here is done

Nice quick review :) I've just gotten the phone, coming from a Note 4 I find the phone so much easier to hold in one hand. I like how the power button is ridged and not smooth, which helps I guess. Loving the phone so far, can't wait to get out there and play about with the camera - how have you found the camera? coming from the Note 4 I got amazing pictures.

Got to say I mostly love the camera. It's zippy and launches fast. HDR is really beautiful and the enhancement features are really good. OIS is a godsend and a must have. Two tone flash would have been nice, though, but i cant complain. Can turn a photo with OK lighting into a masterpiece with little tinkering. Flash is very bright and makes indoor photos appealing without the saturation of a Samsung lens. The panorama and photo sphere features still need fine-tuning but I recently used them extensively on my vacation and found them to be OK. Just takes a while to get adjusted to. Also love how you can immediately get into your photos by swiping right.

Obviously low light needs work but it's not bad and the really really bright ring flash lens makes up for low light in all but pitch black darkness.

My biggest gripe is actually the front lens. Don't know how Google and Moto dropped the ball there. Grainy and quality feels something out of 2008 or earlier. Not exactly a selfie machine.

not sure how this is possible, but I seem to be getting better battery life on my Nexus 6 than I did on my Note 4 and I can't put the phone down! I have the screen at full brightness, as I did with my Note 4 and I use it just as much, but the battery is at least 20% stronger for me on the Nexus. Standby time is amazing. Loving the phone so far, 2 and half days in :)

Well i used auto brightness on my note 3 and with the nexus 6 not having it i tend to lean more towards a brighter screen at the sacrifice of battery life 😂

Yeah, if I disabled the ambient display and brought my brightness down on the Nexus it would last even longer - but I prefer the screen up bright, want to show off my wallpaper :)

I was going to wait to switch over to AT&T until the S6 Edge came out but I decided to get the Nexus 6 instead because the phone is function over form. I don't care if my phone is pretty or not. What I do care about is having the latest Android OS, a huge battery, and a large screen.

Wow, how? I can't get it to last more than 2.5 hours ost, before it hits the 15%warning. Which carrier you on?

Mines is an international version, I'm from the UK - I haven't really looked at my on screen time tbh, right now I'm sitting at 92% battery, unplugged it from the charger about 7 hours ago and I've had an 45 minutes ost. I don't use it much when I'm working.

UPDATE..... Day 26...

As far as I am concerned nexus all the way......

As I stated earlier after a week in regarding power button and volume rocker I don't even give it a second thought... Battery is excellent still getting a full days worth .. I have gone with the nova prime launcher just didn't care for the white Google's search bars on top and huge icons... Using micro SD card reader for music I listen to occasionally and have Spotify and google music both trial subscriptions as well. Still have over 9gb available....
Few minor issues regarding WiFi which seems to have been resolved..
