10 or Z force?

Im taking back my S7E as ive had one since launch, cracked it about 2 months ago, switched to my 6P and it was stolen, then got another S7E. Now i am getting rid of it and cannot choose over the Moto Z force or HTC 10? Anyone have any experience with both? Or can help sway?

I have a htc 10 and love it but from the reviews and how I have seen people react to the Z force u won't really be disappoint with either one

Moto has been very quick with version updates but point updates are very slow or non existent. For instance, the MXPE was updated to 6.0 last November but never got to 6.0.1.
When it comes to security patches, Moto send to be on a, roughly, quarterly schedule.
HTC, on the other hand, has been a bit slower with version updates but much better about point updates and very consistent with security patches.

I've loved my Moto phones but if you value updates avoid the Z's like a plague. VzW is infamously horrible with Droid updates... my less-than-2-years-old Moto Droid Turbo is still languishing on 5.1, believe it or not, despite Moto's promise that it would be upgraded to MM. Which is why my current phone is an HTC.
