I don't think that is possible, but I do not know for sure since I do not have an S8. Maybe someone will be able to give you a definite answer Resaツ

I use Nova Prime Launcher, which has a feature that allows you to get rid of the Notification Bar at top, but only on the home screen. I like to keep my homescreen/desktop neat and clean. I have 5 Docks, and can put 7 items on each Dock. Right now, I have 20 folders on 3 Docks, leaving space for 15 more items on the remaining Docks. The Docks in Nova Prime are my favorite feature.

With the Edge Drawer feature, I really don't have any need for widgets on my S8 Plus. I have lots of widgets on my Note 4, which takes forever to load each time I restart. I want to keep my S8 Plus lean and as fast as possible .....

Screenshots of my homescreen (I only have one homescreen for now). Notice the top of my homescreen does not have the Notification Bar, which can be disabled in Nova Prime Launcher. At the bottom of my homescreen, notice the first Dock, with 7 folders. You can put apps, shortcuts-links, and URLs in the folders.
