So I got Tired of Sense again... Redid everything and flashed CM6 RC1 again...

I flashed one of the Snap Kernels and Gears Spikes at 116 FPS every so often...

And Linpack at around 42 - 46 MFlops...

anyone else see an Increase in FPS like this for short bursts?

I've gotta quit stalling and full root so i can install these roms.. thats sick man!

Any usability issues? I haven't ran CM6 since RC1. I don't follow the threads on XDA, either, but I'm assuming no word on 4G since Sprint/HTC hasn't released source yet, right?

which OC snap are you running, and what screen? I have found that people with Nova, can generally overclock to 1.2, where as epson cap out at 1.19

I have a Nova with Snap v4.1 CC

It kept Freezing at 1.2ghz and restarting... I Restored back to the stock cm6

The Bursts happened every few seconds... It was verrrrry interesting...

Stupid question and I did a search and couldn't find it (although I know it's on here somewhere)...how do I determine if I have a Nova or Epson screen?

Go to Terminal

type Su

it will ask for Root permission

You'll get a #

Type Dmesg

hit menu email results to yourself...

When you get it just look for Either epson or Nova

What's your battery life like with that setup? Where do I find those kernels? Do a search on XDA?

EDIT: found the kernels.

EDIT 2: after rereading i saw you were having issues with SNAP so I'm gonna hold off on that for a little bit.

I didnt recommend the kernels i was testing... I just found it interesting

just a quite newb/ignorant question, what does increasing the FPS do? does it make the evo for average user, noticeably smoother?

Lets put it this way... When i had to go back to stock for Hacking purposes It was ungodly slow compared to my fulled hacked and uncapped Rom

You'll notice the Smoothness right away just dont flash anything unless you know what screen you have...

Read thru any and all Kernel Threads... Lots of useful info in them...

If you have any questions feel free to ask... its no biggie
