So last night when i got off work at 10pm, i had a combination of bad luck happening: Every bus i waited for passed by me without stopping, battery on my phone died, and i was stuck in downtown Los Angeles (i live in carson, many miles away from home). luckily i found a wall jack and was able to call family member, we got to his house at like 1:45am.

That will be the last time i ever experience a scary moment like that. If my battery was bigger, i could have used google maps to find alternate bus routes and/or called for a ride. so i started looking for extended batteries and i found THIS.

3000MAH should let me use google maps to guide me through the bus rides to work, use Google Play Music, and call my partner while I'm undercover at work.

what do you guys think(opinions)? will it be enough? and will the case actually fit the Nexus S 4G?

p.s if someon could point me to a thread about over/underclocking on this phone while still keeping the stock rom would be a complete life saver for me . i dont need the phone running at full capacity while it sits in my pocket.

Wow this battery looks like a bargain. Do you have just 1 battery (the stock) ?

and I think they have a video of this battery in action on youtube just type Nexus S 4G extended battery so you can get an idea on how it looks..i am tempted to get this too..

Yup, I only have the standard battery for right now, and it's not cutting it. Especially in my line of current work, I use my phone all the time when I'm calling my partner.

Just know that with that battery and cover you will lose NFC capabilities. Also worth noting. A review pointed out that the back cover does not fit correctly.

Yeah, I figured that I would lose NFC functionality, but I maxed out my prepaid card so I won't be needing that until Google decides to hand out another free $5~$10

With the case fitting improperly, they(reviewers) mentioned that they just cut a few centimeters in the power button area then your golden! I actually had to do that with my black fusion S case that I got from Ebay. I guess they size most cases to the nexus S instead of the 4G variant.

from what i was reading on other reviews, it adds like 1/2 an inch.

i just got the email earlier this morning from amazon saying it shipped today, so i'll add pictures and details when i receive it in a few days =]
