And still no Google Play Movies support.

I think it's great they are adding more support for Home Automation, but I really think they need to focus on the basic things first.

1) Add the ability to add to calendar and reminders.

2) Ability to add other to-do lists besides Shopping List.

3) Be able to change the wake word, or at least give us more choices.


I have 2 Google Homes and recently bought an Echo Dot to play around with. I think over all Google Home is the better product, but I enjoy talking to Alexa more. I prefer her voice, plus it seems more natural to say Alexa for the wake word.

I think it would in Google's best interest to have a blog which lets people know what they are working on and what updates are coming up next.

Totally agree with you. Google need to sort out the core basic functions.
