16gb HTC One M8 GPE?

I'm from the UK I just purchased a 16gb off eBay UK but I'm thinking it's a sense version been rooted but I checked via root checker and it's not rooted. Is there any way to find out if its an original GPE?

Good question. It can be hard sometimes to track down prior GPE devices, since they come and go from Google Play Store. The CNet review specifies that although the normal M8 comes in 16 GB/32 GB versions, the GPE sold through Google Play only comes in 32 GB: HTC One M8 Google Play Edition review - Page 2 - CNET

When going into the settings > about phone > regulatory information it says United States of America FCC ID: then some letters and numbers. I'll assume it's a GPE until I have reasons to think otherwise. I think I prefer my G2 though but gonna use it for a day and see how it goes. Thanks for your input.

Maybe but I didn't want a rooted phone, but using this for a few hours I don't think i can use an unrooted phone again, rooting is a must lol
