I'm not sure if this is the place to post this or not. But over on the Adorama.com currently has (Kingston Technology 16 GB Micro Secure Digital, microSD, Memory Card with Adaptors to MiniSD & Standard SD card) on sale for $20. It's only a class 2, but I got this as a replacement card for the one that is currently shipped with the Evo. Hope this helps someone out looking for a deal on a card.

Post might be spam, but as an hobbyist photographer, I can vouch that adorama is a legit site for gear (though I usually go through B&H).

Thanks. I picked one up. Its a class 2, but at that price to double the capacity from 8 to 16gb it a good deal. Same card at Amazon is $47.

its a class 2 sd card you want a class 6 for the evo

the stock memory card is a class 2 and some people say it makes the phone run sluggish

I too received the "back-ordered" email.

In the poster's defense... I've ordered camera equipment from Adorama for many years without any issues. My guess is that this isn't a "too good to be true deal" so much as a "lots of people suddenly ordering over a holiday weekend" situation.

LOL and if you visit the link now, they have caught the issue. There is now a red font disclaimer: "We ran out of this Item Temporarily.
Please note: You can order this now and have us ship it as soon as it arrives.
We will not charge your card for any backordered items, until it is ready to actually ship"

And the price is now $39.95. So... since I got it early for $19.95 with free shipping, I'm not going to grumble too loudly about the backorder situation.

I ordered two 16gb class 4 $18 during christmas. It also was on backorder, but they still shipped once it game back into stock. So I don't worry about them fufilling the order.
