I bought an aftermarket extended battery with the battery cover. When I installed it, that was the longest week of my life. I gave my original battery and covery to my daughter (she has a BOLT also), I had to ask for it back. It didn't hold a signal 4g or 3g consistantly, despite me living in Silicon Valley.

I don't know if it was the battery itself or the cover. Someone on another thread posted something about the signal being weak....well, I can attest to that. As soon as I put my old battery back in and cover.....not any issues other than Verizon going out last week.

So, when it comes to batteries and covers, I will stick to 100% OEM.

The antennas are in the battery cover on the tb. So if the aftermarket battery back was not constructed well, then it would make sense that you are having connection problems.
