I was wondering what life is on both?

I know one lasts longer than the other.. just not sure i want to deal with the extended look with no case..
If the 1800 could last a couple hours longer that would work for me.

Just curious what others are getting(real world).

i did a quasi-experiment using the 1750mah, results werent good. mine was a mimic of someone else's method, both showed results not in favor of the 1750-1800 batteries.

the link to the original examination should be in the thread.
bottom line - from my (and my predecessors) experience, if there will be any gains, they will be nominal. i recommend buying a second battery (standard or knock off, results show they are very comparable, so get whchever is cheaper) to carry with you somewhere and swap battery when the first one dies. or just buy the big boy as i havent seen any complaints from anyone that has one.
i personally am fortunate enough to have chargers literally everywhere (home, work & car). i get a good 8 hours with (my) standard usage. i'm never really away from a charger for that long a time.
good luck

That 1800 battery in reality is probably about the same as a stock battery, might give you an extra 1 hour of battery or something. If you want to DOUBLE or TRIPLE the battery life, you are going to need one of the extended batteries that require a new back cover.

I went through the same dilemma trying to decide between the Mugen 3000 or the Seidio 3500, I decided on the Seidio because I had read hundreds of great reviews on the battery, and I have a little more trust in Seidio standing behind their products. Also, don't forget that Seidio also makes cases/docks/holsters designed to accommodate the larger battery.

Bought mine on Amazon for $63 plus $10 for 2 day shipping.

on the sedieo extended... does it interfere with camera shots/quality at all? It just looks like it comes close to the camera lens from the stock photo's I have seen. Wish i could see a real world photo of one.

I've read throughout multiple forums the gains in the 1800's aren't that significant. If you're going to go extended battery, you might as well go all out and get the 3500.

Anyone give an estimate of how long the 3500 extended battery lasts with heavy use? I am tempted to get one but if it doesn't last much more than a day then there is no point for me.

I have the 3500, have had it since day 1.... I literally can not kill this battery .... I just went two days on one charge using it all day, all after work till I fell asleep, (i forgot my charger at my bf's) nd then it got ne thru the entire next day even receiving emails and sending. Few text.... just to test it out... I wanted to let it run till it died and it didn't die until 9pm last night (unplugged @ 7 am tues am )

Hearing that makes it tempting to go with that battery.. How much heavier does it make the phone?

I don't think it makes it that much heavier.... I mean it does all some weight but I don't feel its cumbersome... and I even like the way it feels in my handsbetter ... I feel like I get a better hold on it. I'm a total girly girl... and by no means R my fingers and hands large...

I just love not having to carry around a charger or have one at work and In my car and on my desk.... its just the best ever

It has not affected my photos at all. I read ONE review where someone claimed that the flash reflected into the photo, but the other 150 reviews said otherwise... no problems here at all.

And as for the life of the battery, with moderate use, my phone is only down to about 70% at the end of a very long day (9am-12am). I cannot say how it lasts under heavy use, but I am pretty confident that it would last at LEAST 12 hours under extremely heavy use. Read some reviews on Amazon, you will have a better idea.

The phone feels great in hand, and the photos don't do it justice. It looks really large and bulky in all the photos I have seen, but once you have it in your hands it is a different story. The benefits far outweigh and negatives from the larger size. Still fits in my jeans pocket no problem.

The only negative that I have found (which is actually a fault of HTC) is that you will still have the trickle charge problem with this battery. After you follow the directions to leave it plugged in for at LEAST 8 hours for the initial charge, you will notice that the first 10% of battery depletes pretty quickly, but once you are below 90% it lasts a loooong time (as I type this, my evo is at 87% after over 5 hours since unplugged). Usually, at about 6:00 pm when I get home, my battery level is still around 75-80%.

Just go for it, you will not regret it. It is literally like using a whole new phone once you no longer have to worry about the stupid battery life. Use the features that you bought the phone for in the first place and leave the charger at home.

I just ordered the 3500 today from Amazon,,, $53.95 plus shipping. I was toying with the idea of the huge capacity battery already but after looking at some of the pics, I realized it would also provide a means of protecting the camera lens. That was one of my negatives about the EVO, sitting the phone down and it is resting on the camera lens. Now the way the new Seidio back is designed, it will keep the lens from being a resting point. I am stoked and can't wait to test this power house battery out!!!
