Is there anyway to restore my X if i cant get to the desktop/home screen?

How do I get to the recovery screen?

if that doesn't work, go to recovery by holding down power, volume down, and home

To get to recovery first make sure the phone is off. Then hold home and power together. When the droid guy and! Pops up hit the search key. Use the vol keys to move around and camera to select.
