2.1 Leak to 2.1 Root

I have the "old" 2.1 leak with the bugs, and I was wondering could I still root my Droid Eris. If I cold give me the step by step on how to root the Droid Eris, with the 2.1 leak on it. You could also link me to the thread.

no

there is no current known way to root other than from 1.5. if you went to the leak you have no shot right now. but the devs are working on it they say.

and by the way there are still bugs its just there are less and less frequent
