Now that i am running Froyo 2.2, I have noticed a bug that seems to happen about every other day. When i install an app it will occasionally say Starting Download. But it will stay like that forever. Then when i go to the apps market page it shows a blank downloading bar with no words or animations. So then i select cancel download and the Market application Force Closes. The only success i have had is by going to applications> manage applications> market> clear data. But that then makes me have to redo all of my market activity. any suggestions?

Apps that have caused this failure:
Titanium Backup Root
Maps
Formulas lite
LauncherPro Beta

Hi,

I seem to be having the exact same issue. I recently upgraded my Moto Droid to Froyo FRG01B and am experiencing this issue with the application Laputa. Before I clear my cache, has there been any other solutions yet?

Thanks!

I have had a similar issue but mine will not force close it just takes a second to actually start downloading

I have this problem as well. It could be a coincidence but I think if I turn off wifi it sometimes starts the download.

I've also had this happen to me as well. First had it with Laputa, but I've had it to a lesser degree with other apps too. With Laputa it has happened several times. For the other apps, I was able to stop and restart the download. With Laputa I ended up resolving it by wiping the data and cache for the Market app in Settings.
