This blows. I cant get slingplayer or any other of my paid apps since i upgraded to froyo..
And i cant down grade back to 2.1 either...

What does it say? Does it say you didn't pay for them?
Does it not show the app?

Manual update, right?

It says unsuccessful download on manual and I've tried on 3g 4g and wifi. The app is labeled as purchased.

On other threads I've read that the market is still thinking Evo is on v2.1 since the 2.2 hasn't been officially released. Once the official release happens then the market will be notified by HTC and protected apps should all show up fine. I'd wait a few days. I've been messing around with 2.2 roms for 2 or 3 weeks now and apps are hit or miss on the market. Some I just kept trying and trying and they'd finally install. Some I had to sync with appbrain. Some I had to uninstall first then they'd update, etc etc. Others I had to find the apk somewhere else and manually install them.

I had this problem initially, but it worked when I tried to download the app again.

I contacted a couple of devs regarding not being able to get paid apps and this is exactly what they told me. The said it has to do with copyright protections and so other legal matters and once 2.2 is officially released the market will allow the downloading of the apps again.

Nexus went thru same thing. You have to wait for Google to update the market once the official update is released.
