2.2 upgrade and email weirdness

Hi,

I posted this in the Canadian forum but thought I'd post here as well...

I upgraded to 2.2 last night and all seemed to go fine. This morning, I sent a reply to an email. The receiver emailed me back and asked me about the contents of my email. I was shocked to see what I had typed what not what was sent. What was send was the body of an email from another mail account! It happened again so I deleted the mail account and added back to see if this will correct the problem.

Has anyone else encountered this?

Not this exactly, no. However, it is somewhat common that a factory reset is required after the update, to prevent "odd" things like this from happening. Keep an eye on it, and if you note any other oddities that are not cleared up with similar excision (clearing app data on troublesome apps would be a quicker try than a reset), you may have to bite the bullet and factory reset to start over with 2.2 fresh.

Though it does suck at first, a clean slate is not so bad once in a while.
