Well I loaded 2.2 download and it seems to be running ok a few bugs no wifi but for me thats ok. Here are some of the features

It is indeed Android 2.2
New Market with ?auto-update? feature
Apps2SD (still cant seem to move anything)
Froyo Launcher with 3D app drawer
USB Tethering (no Wi-Fi tethering)
New camera software
Wi-Fi doesn?t work ( I'm ok with this till the official release)
Might have JIT. (it seems to be faster but needs testing)

The one thing I did notice is maps is installed but the market shows that it's not if you try to install from the market it will fail the install.

Now time to get the Flash 10.1 beta

One thing I gotta know... does the new camera software make the camera better, or is it the hardware that makes the Droid's camera so bad?

Is anyone else seeing battery drain issues went from 80% to 10 in a couple of hours

Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk

My oh my...this is glorious! 1ghz P3 kernal fixes the wifi issue. This is stunning!! Download now before every site crashes. mydroidworld has already exploded!

Themes can't come fast enough but I'm sure someone is working on it already. Patiently waiting...

Yeah so I guess I'll post my findings here, by the way the first boot is really slow so don't worry if it takes a while.

-On first boot I ran Linpack and got the regular 3-4 MFLOPS score.
-Second boot I'm getting a consistent score of 9.5 MFLOPS
-Ok so I guess JIT kicks in a while after your phone turns on I'm back at 9.5.
-Launcher worked great even on first boot
-My (free) apps didn't show up at all (I haven't purchased any apps so I don't know if -they will show up)
-Google Maps-manual install
-New Pin lock is really cool
-Quadrant score 850 W/O Overclocking and 14xx-15xx overclocked to 1.2GHz

Last but not least....
2.2 IS MOTHERFUDGING BLAZING FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow i really need to do this already. i was going to wait till later tonight but once i get somthing taken care of then im going for it. these number's are ridiculous. the fact that it is beating N1's with 2.2 is exciting. has anybody experienced any hiccups or freezes? or once it start and fully loads it runs perfectly?

do we just place the Kernal (WiFi fix) on the root of the SD Card, or do we use another method

Are you doing SPR or Clockword? With hte latter it doesn't matte rwhere you place it because you browse to the file when you select your zip
