2.3.6 Launcher goes to landscape

So I updated my phone to 2.3.6 there last week with no issue's. Then last night something strange happened. I had my Nexus in landscape while texting, press the home button and the home screen is in landscape mode. Thought it was a bug and wouldn't be functional. I was wrong! worked just fine, even the app drawer worked in landscape mode! Was well annoyed that I did have root cause couldn't take a screen shot!

Anyone else experience this?

also one small bug i now have is the car home app auto launches from time to time... little annoying!

hmm... im running 2.3.6 as well but i don't have landscape mode.

You were rooted and updated? Also try clearing data on launcher, and car home.
