Now granted, the CDMA radio is barely active because I have swapped back to my Epic 4g so that I can send the Epic 4g Touch back to Sprint for an Iphone 4s...
And I Have barely used the phone, outside of picking it up, playing some music and streaming some tunes.

But the phone has stayed connected to wifi, with a Live Wallplayer and the Weather Widget running.

It is at 17%....
Now when I had it on "the Sprint Network", with a different launcher (Go) and themes, and Go Launcher's widgets my phone exihibited losing battery power (phone died with LITTLE to no use from Charge at 6am in th emorning to 10am at one point) and issues with apps switching between wifi and Sprint's network.
I would say any battery issues are related with the antennae.

Question of the Day: Why would you want to exchange the Epic 4G Touch for an iPhone????? Smaller screen, no 4G yet still being charged $10 premium data.

When I was buying my GS2 last Wednesday the clerk mentioned that the iFone Forress was coming next week. Now, when someone walks into your store two minutes before closing looking to replace his EVO with a GS2 and he's willing to pay full price, to suggest that he may be interested in an iPhone is almost begging for a punch in the throat. Crazy.

That must be good stuff, what ever your smoking thats got you ready to swap that for an iphoneS"ucker, WoW pass it down! You must be from CA.

By the way no antenna issues or battery problems, we have an entire thread about this. It's the best battery I've ever experienced in a high end smart phone! good luck with that other phone, but seriously put that stuff out. That 3.6 in screen will strain your red eyes!

Really? Still charge $10 premium data for iPhone???? Drat.... Sprint spouts.

I put it on airplane mode and WIFI to drain it out from 100% just to see how long it lasted. Got like 52 hours until it read 5%.

Now you understand the dilemma with the antennaes on these phones...

As for why I would choose Iphone over Epic...well, let me tell ya something (Jim Carey fire marshall Bill, which is how long I have been toting around PPC's and PPCPE's)...

I am one guy who likes to truly embrace technology... specially in regards to phones..
I have been an Android going over the past 2 years beginning with my Sprint Touch Pro two running the 2.1 Build of Android... that was 2 years and (Samsung Moment, EVO 4G, Samsung Intercept, Epic 4g and Epic 4g Touch) 5 phones ago. Before that I was big on WIndows Mobile (5.x, 6.0-6.5). I am still big on Windows Mobile, but MS is WAYYYYYYYYY Behind for my tastes in regard to software...

SO, in my everyday use of the Epic 4g... I have been 5 apps...
-I have a 1 hour commute to work, and a 1 hour commute BACK from work, so using Pandora and Slacker Radio is a must... as well as using Bible IS to listen to the Audio Drama Bible.

-I do Weight Watchers (I have lost 50 pounds in a year) and so I used WWPOINTS to not only calculate my points but also track them as well as my activities.

-I also do a lot of running, walking, exercises, and other activities... and so I use a very nice well rounded app called Noom (Used to be Cardio Trainer) to not only track those activities, it also uses GPS to calculate the miles and calories.

My life has become increasingly busy. I am being called on to be more active in my church, and I have a newborn baby (now 7 months) at home. I need stuff to work and work right.

I like to go running in the mornings on my treadmill or outside on the weekend mornings... I like to listen to the Bible or Pandora or Slacker...

The Android, and the CPU have massive issues pulling data from two different apps continuously or at intervals...to the point where it will lock up the phone, ie lock the screen while it issues a force close for the audio app. This is ANNOYING while I am running. I have to stop my entire workout just to try to monkey with the phone. I HATE that. It did not happen with the Epic 4g, but the EPIC 4g was just slower...(I have tried many custom roms and other things... eventually lack of physical memory kills that phone).
Basically I am the stage in my life where things JUST WORK. I HATE the 3.6 inch screen on the iphone. I HATE that Sprint is throwing the book at us suscribers (no more equipment billing to accounts, no more unlimited hotspot, no more 30 day equipment returns, no more premier plan, no more 30 day contract trials, and the cancellation going up to $350.00 for $200.00, and finally NO insurance on the iphone 4s).... I hate that... But I HATE, even more, having to fight with the Android OS. I love the customizations, and I love the speed of the E4GT... overall... but it is a FIGHT just to get these Android phones to "Smoothen" out on an IOS level or to keep the stable. I should not have apps Forcing closing after a week of UN-rooted use.

I love the innovativeness of Android... but ith issues with the battery on the phone...and the issues with apps switching between wi-fi and cdma antennaes; making the apps unstable.... is just unbearable...

I have not returned my E4GT... but even now... it is a curse to wait for some good roms, and for fixes to the Antennae issue that many of noticed here... I JUST WANT SOMETHING THAT WORKS!!!

Wow! And I sick of paying out of pocket for upgrades every couple months could be worse!
At least there covered, I think apples pretty good about replacing products at least I had no problem with Ipod! But phones are exposed to more situations that may call for insurance...
