We've all seen that this phone is advertised to have up to 2 days battery life, but I find even with stamina mode constantly on, my battery will typically last about 1 day and a few hours.

I use my phone quite a lot, but mostly for social media, I dont game and I rarely watch videos.

I really like the phone, just curious how other people are finding the battery, my girlfriend has the same phone and the battery life is considerably worse than mine.

I can get 4 days on a Note 3 with a 20 month old battery. Charge it to 100%, then leave it set to turn off with a warning at 5%. Note how long it is until you get the warning.

That's how they get these "2 day battery life" figures. Using the phone cuts the battery life between charges, if you're willing to drain the battery down to 20% or so (which you should never do) to about 8 hours in most phones. Recharging at the 40% point (about the lowest it should go) won't get you through the day, if you're a heavy user, without a power bank or a wall outlet.

I run my phone down to 5% regularly. What's the point of having a battery if you only use half? My battery might be at 80% after 2 years... But I'll still be getting farther on a charge than you...

I always thought you are supposed to stick it on charge between 20 and 30 percent, then once in a while run it flat.

You're supposed to use the phone. You aren't going to keep it more than 2 or 3 years. Being "careful" doesn't make much difference over that time frame. Fwiw I am getting fantastic battery life from the z3c. I can't kill it in a day...and I synch 5 email accounts, have Bluetooth and NFC on, as well as high accuracy GPS. I have turned off Facebook sync though.

What you get for battery life depends upon how heavily you use your phone. If you use it more than a typical user, you won't get the typical two day usage.

For me, I usually charge my phone every other day when it gets down to 30% and that's without Stamina mode turned on. However, after playing Ingress for three hours yesterday at a First Saturday event, I went from 90% to 40% (others were using external batteries to keep their phones going).
