I have had the T-Mobile G6 since April. The first month I really liked the phone. Then I started get a notification that I had moisture in the charging port when I have never had my phone near water. That error evolved into a notification that I needed to change my USB settings when plugged in to another device. It was nonstop. A little drop down accompanied by a vibration and a beep. It's only lasted for a split second, but it would repeat.
I contacted LG. They said send the phone in and it would be 2 weeks to get my phone repaired or replaced. So I contacted T-Mobile and they gave my a new phone.
Now for the second issue. Both phones give me errors every time I try and use the home screen with the app drawer. I've had to switch to just the home screen which I do not care for.
After 2 V10's with bootloop issues and now these issues with the G6 I may be finished with LG.

Sorry for your issues but don't give up on LG - I've had the V10 and V20 and G4 and Now G6 - Never had one single issue with any phone.
Am I just lucky? or are you unlucky? Don't know but don't give up - everything can be fixed.

Yes, try Nova or another launcher to see if it still happens. Also, clean your cache.

When did you start getting the error? Right after you got it or did it start after a given amount of time after you got it? Making sure there isn't a rouge app causing it.

With the first phone the home screen error didn't happen for a couple of months. When I picked up my replacement G6, it happened as soon as I signed in and choose the home screen /app drawer choice.
