How do we check for automatic updates?

Is anyone else having problems with sms texts going to the wrong person? I know this was discussed, but I thought it was fixed. For example you open text A, respond, but it goes to person B, that you had a thread going on with as well?

I think if there was an update it would pop up under 'firmware update'.
