2 XL notification LED?

I don't see a notification LED in the specs and haven't seen anything in video yet. Does the 2 XL have an LED or does it rely solely on the always-on display?

The former Pixels have it so I'm hoping the 2s do as well. Apparently it's inside the speaker grille on the originals.

It probably has one. I can't remember the last phone that listed a notification light in the specs, but it's probably in the manual.

I don't agree. Nothing beats that blinking light you can see clear across a room alerting you to a text or email etc.

Previous pixels really fell down in this area the LED is so dim you couldn't see them well in a little room. Hope it's more like the 6P.

The 5x had a great LED, even better than the 6P

Not sure but i found a glass screen protector that has an odd cut out on far right on top of display.. looks like notification light to me

Nice find. Thanks. The cutout under the speaker should be the ambient light and proximity sensors, leaving the random dot over on the right to potentially be a notification LED. Let's hope you're right!

You can take it to the bank....the 2XL has a notification light.

Thanks. Sounds like between this and the reddit discussion above, it's a definite 'yes'.

But, the only thing I'm taking to the bank is a $900+ savings since I ended up canceling my order. Another device will be landing on my desk soon instead.
