Hey Folks.
I am currently living overseas and I put my stuff in my parents' storage unit in the US. The stoarge unit is in the basement of their condo. Heat is running in the basement to prevent mold and mildew growing. I have a 2014 Motorolla Android phone I kept with a slightly puffed battery in the case. The battery is dead, can't charge, and is in a rubbermaid bin with other electronics. I forgot about this phone recently and the more I read about smart phone batteries puffing and exploding I am worried. I can't ask my parents to help because they are old.
Is a slightly puffy battery nothing to worry about? Or should I get someone to dispose of it?
