2014 better signal than 2013???

I was at a wedding were Verizon barely got 1x inside the hotel. The people sitting next to me had ATT one had the 2014 moto x and was getting full LTE signal and the other person also with ATT and previous generation moto x was only getting 2-3 bars hspa. Does the 2014 have a stronger antenna?

It most likely does but it is hard to compare in this situation. If they were on the same carrier and getting better signal then you could tell but since it was another one -- they could just have better coverage than Verizon in that area.

The people with the moto x, both on ATT.

I never noticed any difference in signal between my 2013 and 2014 X, or between my 2014 and 2015 X for that matter. They've all had great signal strength.

[Cant Miss]

I currently have both on T-Mobile and usually see 3-6dBm improvement. Both are sitting side by side on my desk right now and am seeing 4dBm greater on the 2014.
