2024 plus Razr

I went ahead and got the new 2024 plus. Unlocked through Best Buy. It amazed me that it's a tough one to find in blue. Pleanty of hot pinks to go around though

Anyways that front screen is a HUGE improvement over my 2023 plus model, that alone was worth my upgrade. The tiny keyboard on the 2023 is frustrating unless you use swipe. But sometimes I just like to type normal without swipe.

I'm still setting it up and I still have to get a case, so i won't be carrying it for a hot minute although, it isn't slippery and I can hold on to it comfortably without fear of dripping it ..

I'm really enjoying it so far. I love the compact size. I have yet to put a case on it as it's totally manageable without one thanks partly to the vegan leather backing and also the size.

I find I can do 99% of things on the front screen if I want to. Typing on the front screen is so much easier than on the 2023 model.

Batter is good as long as you keep to the front screen mainly. The inside screen obviously consumes more but that's to be expected. I have been making it through a full day easily but if you need to top off I can get away with a 15 or 20 minute top off and that is more than enough to get me through the rest of the today if I'm running low on power.

Everything is fast and fluid with the 165hz refresh rate. Cameras are decent, certainly good enough for me

Id recommend this to anyone that is on the fence

So I have been using this phone as my daily driver now for the past 2 weeks and been carrying it totally unprotected, meaning no case or screen protector and it hasn't scratched the front glass or the vegan leather back. It is holding up real nice so far and so easy to hold on to. I'm still really liking it. The size is so awesome, when I have it in my pocket I forget it there at all. And I like being able to cup it when I type on the front cover screen. A little extra privacy.

I will say I use the cover screen probably 90% of the time. There are instances where I prefer to open it and YouTube is one although watching it on the cover display is ok even.

I'll be rocking this daily until I get my pixel 9 pro fold.

I don't have an issue with the outer display keyboard on the 2024 plus variant. The 2023 plus however was an issue at times.

I was disappointed that the razr plus 2024 doesn't have AOD on the main screen when locked. You have to tap or nudge the device to see clock and notifications. But thankfully the outer display does support a true AOD.
