:p Great avatar Clam!!!

As for the keyboard, well i love me a great physical keyboard but after sometime with the gummy pre's keypad some keys are starting to stick and not work at all anymore, go figure right before the Evo release!

after the pre, i'm done with physical keyboards. i'm no longer a fan of moving parts on a cell phone.

I have to agree. I owned a T-Mobile Dash for almost 3 years prior to my Palm Pre and decided that my next phone will have to have an on-screen keyboard as I refuse to have any moving parts (that no matter how solid it is, will eventually wear out over time) on my phone and am not willing to sacrifice screen space for a dedicated keyboard (BBs, Dash, etc).

The pre was my first phone with a physical qwerty keyboard, and at first I was excited about it, and it also made sense to me to have it since while you type, half of your screen won't get taken up by the software keyboard. Then I closed the keyboard rather enthusiasticly for the first time, and the phone shut off. Then there was the Oreo effect, and now the creakyness of the keyboard. It feels like I have something in my hand that's about to fall apart any second. Forget that. I got to play with my first live Evo yesterday, and I was amazed by how great and solid it felt. And while I am sure that the second Droid will have the same type of heavy duty feeling chassis as the first one does, I am still not lusting after it. The screen looks really narrow and long for some reason, I like the Evos screen dimensions and proportions much better. Also, the second advantage of the VZ product having a better GPU...yeah, it will gain us a few fps here and there in games, but it won't change the overall experience of the phone. Also, I like Sense, this Moto product won't have it.

Can't wait until Friday......we can start going by hours soon instead of days!

I'm second guessing a little bit but still going with the EVO. If i keep waiting for the next best thing I'll never have a new phone.

It never ends.

Was gonna get the Motorola Droid until I heard about the Nexus. Was gonna keep the Nexus until I heard about the Incredible. Was gonna keep the Incredible until I heard about the Evo.

I'm getting and keeping the Evo. Even though we just heard about the 1.2 processor being released this week, I'm not waiting anymore. I'm getting the best available phone on the planet in 37 hours and 6 minutes and will enjoy the heck out of it.

First off no, and secondly I'm pretty sure that the snapdragon has a dedicated GPU (AMD Z430) its just not as powerful as the rumored gpu in the shadow's SoC.
