The pre was my first phone with a physical qwerty keyboard, and at first I was excited about it, and it also made sense to me to have it since while you type, half of your screen won't get taken up by the software keyboard. Then I closed the keyboard rather enthusiasticly for the first time, and the phone shut off. Then there was the Oreo effect, and now the creakyness of the keyboard. It feels like I have something in my hand that's about to fall apart any second. Forget that. I got to play with my first live Evo yesterday, and I was amazed by how great and solid it felt. And while I am sure that the second Droid will have the same type of heavy duty feeling chassis as the first one does, I am still not lusting after it. The screen looks really narrow and long for some reason, I like the Evos screen dimensions and proportions much better. Also, the second advantage of the VZ product having a better GPU...yeah, it will gain us a few fps here and there in games, but it won't change the overall experience of the phone. Also, I like Sense, this Moto product won't have it.
Can't wait until Friday......we can start going by hours soon instead of days!
