Fair warning. If you buy it from Amazon you will not get the 2nd year. I was rejected. reading the fine print you have to buy it from a major carrier or an affiliate.

Wow, that's got to be disappointing. If LG is really trying to help people feel better about buying their phones, it really shouldn't matter where it was purchased, should it?

To a degree you right but it does matter if you are buying from a third party private seller even if they go through a major supplier or Ebay

I'm curious, was it actually sold by Amazon or a seller doing business on Amazon?

Synchrony, in the Amazon marketplace. Eligible for Prime shipping as well. Don't know how you can get any more legit than that.

I don't know who they are but they are probably not an authorized reseller.... I was trying figure out if they honor Amazon direct sales but probably not.

I resubmitted mine again. Waiting to hear....

Update: The 2nd submission was accepted. I'm good to go,....

I have one on order from US Cellular. I'd be happy with a 2 year warranty v 1 year. Makes me feel better about the phone already.

I got mine at an AT&T authorized retailer that has an actual name but mostly hides it - their logo is basically an AT&T logo with "authorized retailer" added - so I was a little worried about the warranty going through, but it did.

Good idea on the quick exchange program if you do need to use the warranty. But I think it would have been even better if the warranty promised to cover things that a normal warranty wouldn't. It would be really enticing that way.
